Blogapalooza recently hosted another exciting Bloga Workshop diving into the fun of creating content on-the-go-with SONY. This hands-on workshop empowered attendees to capture and edit stunning content while on the move.
Content creators definitely picked up some awesome tips from Rozel Basilio at the workshop! She was really generous in sharing her content creation secrets. Rozel's been rocking the content game since 2015, focusing on Lifestyle, Wellness, Beauty, and Fashion. Before that, she was part of the production team at Adober Studios, the digital arm of ABS-CBN, so she knows her stuff! With her experience, it's no wonder everyone left the workshop feeling inspired and ready to create.

1. Planning is Everything—Don’t Just Wing It!
Rozel Basilio, a content creation pro, with her passion in content creation, dropped some major knowledge bombs during the workshop. She emphasized that the most crucial part of content creation is planning—and nope, not while you’re editing!
“If the plan is not concrete, the production will crash,” Rozel said, and she’s absolutely right. You can’t just figure things out as you go. So, make sure your game plan is solid before you hit that record button.
2. Lighting and Audio—The Dynamic Duo
Want your videos to look and sound professional? Start with good lighting and audio! According to Rozel, great lighting is a game-changer for video quality. And while a fancy mic is awesome, you don’t need to rush out and buy one right away. Just find a quiet spot to shoot your videos, and you’re halfway there!
3. On-the-Go Gear
As an on-the-go content creator, your gear is your best friend. Rozel swears by her compact Sony camera, and after this workshop, we totally get why. She shared that a camera, mic, extra battery, and extra SD card are must-haves when you're out and about. “I’m really a fan of Sony,” Rozel said. “The photo and video quality using my camera is top-notch.”
The workshop was an immersive experience! Not only did attendees dive into the theory, but they also got to play around with a variety of Sony cameras and lenses. They snapped photos, shot videos, and saw the magic happen right before their eyes. The best part? The workshop wrapped up with a fun challenge where everyone got to show off their new skills and put that Sony gear to work!
