Burnout Festival 2024: The Ultimate EB ng mga Pagod is Here!

Feeling drained from the daily grind? Ready to find a space where you can recharge and connect with others who feel the same way? Look no further- Burnout Festival 2024 is back for its second year, offering a fresh take on how Filipinos can manage and overcome the daily struggles of burnout. Happening on November 9, 2024, at Venice Piazza, Venice Grand Canal, McKinley Hill, Taguig, the festival offers a day filled with creative, interactive, and meaningful activities that focus on mental wellness and community connection.

Born out of passion to make a difference, Ideascape MNL designed Burnout Festival to create a welcoming space where attendees can explore diverse ways to destress and cope up with the daily pressures of life. Last year’s festival was a huge success, bringing together hundreds of individuals who found comfort in a safe and lively environment where they could freely express their struggles and triumphs over burnout.

Isang mahigpit na yakap para sa lahat (One big hug for all) because burnout is something that can happen to anyone,” says Bam Atienza, co-owner and operations head of Ideascape MNL. “With Burnout Festival, we want to show that aside from the clinical approach, there are a lot of creative ways to navigate burnout and manage stress, with as simple as doodling, watching a live band play, and meeting new friends in a supportive community, we’re making self-care accessible and fun.”

What to Expect at Burnout Festival 2024:

  • Play, Pause, Hinga, Repeat: This year’s festival will center on the dynamic nature of burnout through these four themes, representing different approaches to navigating it. Attendees will learn how to decompress, destress, and connect with like-minded individuals.

  • Burnout Talks: This year, communities take center stage. Hear never-before-shared burnout stories from Tiktok’s Lumpia Queen, Abi Marquez, and TV personality Stanley Chi, and get quick, practical tips on managing burnout from the National Center for Mental Health.

  • Creative Workshops and Live Performances: Join hands-on workshops by Weewilldoodle and Taguig Crochet and chill to live music by Eloisa (Busking Queen), Locomoco, Escala, Kaede, Android 18, and more.

  • The Burnout Project: Beyond festival activities, discover resources and upcoming events under The Burnout Project PH, aimed at helping attendees find tools and creative support for ongoing mental wellness.

  • Diverse Communities Coming Together: Burnout Festival is proud to partner with over 35 school organizations and community groups, with an expected 2,500 attendees gathering to celebrate resilience, self-care, and the strength of community.

Whether you’ve experienced burnout firsthand or are just curious about new ways to practice self-care, Burnout Festival 2024 invites you to come as you are. This event is for everyone—students, working professionals, creatives, and anyone looking for a space to recharge and find new inspiration.
